Chef Mike Cordero opened the second Taco Rock in Alexandria today at Pinecrest Plaza. The fast-casual taqueria and tequila bar becomes Taco Rock 2, expanding the concept beyond the original location in Rosslyn. The 75-seat restaurant boasts another 20 barstools at the tequila bar, an outdoor patio with large garage door front windows, opening up to 48 seats for al-fresco dining.

According to MacNac Hospitality Group, all of its restaurants are open for dine-in and outdoor service, as well as takeout. Taco Rock opened today in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington, Va. The 2,407 restaurant’s opening had been delayed, initially thought to be opening during the summer. The restaurant is located at 1501 Wilson Boulevard. As we reported earlier this year, this is the first fast-casual concept for Chef Mike Cordero, who is also president of Macnac Hospitality, the operator of several restaurants in Northern Virginia.
