The fun and frolic is building as we approach Mardi Gras 2020. Arlington’s Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar and Eatery and Dock 5 at Union Market are both showing their party scene for a grand celebration. Chef and restaurateur David Guas has a night of traditional Creaole & Cajun food and live music planned, starting at 6 p.m. Bayou Bakery will offer $5 dishes, including dishes like Camellia Red Beans & Rice, Muffalettas, Jambalaya, Crawfish Monica, and Beignets.

Brookland’s Finest owner, Shannan Troncosa, is creating a women-inspired event as she collaborates with other women-owned businesses in a distiller dinner series. The Brookland’s Finest Mardi Gras evening celebrates women’s history month and puts the spotlight on Republic Restoratives and Moorenko’s.
