The 2022 Capital Food Fight by DC Central Kitchen returns the celebratory in-person chef competition to The Anthem in DC in just a few weeks. According to the host, VIP tickets for the April 7th event are sold out, but general admission tickets remain available. The Capital Food Fight dates back to 2004 when DC Central Kitchen Board Chair Emeritus José Andrés hosted it; the event is a popular spring competition between high-profile chefs.

The Capital Food Fight returns November 6. Chef José Andrés, founder & chair, Carla Hall, celebrity chef and author, and Spike Mendelsohn, a celebrity chef and restaurateur, will host some of the restaurant industry’s most competitive culinary warriors. What’s more, some of the most acclaimed chefs in the industry will serve as judges of the event. Andrew Zimmern, Maneet Chauhan and Ryan Zimmerman have earned national recognition, and will select the winners.

The Capital Food Fight is on. D.C. Central Kitchen is bringing this year’s Capital Food Fight to the District’s Anthem Arena on the Waterfront November 8, 2018. The event typically brings together 1,000 guests as it offers culinary delights from over 80 of D.C.’s best restaurants.
