Brookland’s Finest will feature a Mardi Gras three-course dinner with Republic Restoratives. Brookland’s Finest owner, Shannan Troncosa, is creating a women-inspired event as she collaborates with other women-owned businesses in a distiller dinner series. The Brookland’s Finest Mardi Gras evening celebrates women’s history month and puts the spotlight on Republic Restoratives and Moorenko’s.

March 5 NOLA-style event sure to be a Jambalaya of fun

Mardi Gras will boast events around the DMV, but there’s no étouffée about long-standing traditions in the Washington, D.C. region. Naturally, Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar and Eatery in Arlington, Va. will host a Mardi Gras Blowout event during Fast Tuesday, March 5. David Guas will be hosting a special NOLA-style event. Guas is a NOLA native and celebrity chef who has featured Creole and Cajun favorites at the neighborhood bakery for eight years.
