Week-long fete adds special events, including cocktail-making classes, tasting dinners; newly-opened venues join, too
More than fifty restaurants have signed up for DC Cocktail Week, said its organizer, the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW). The celebration returns to the DMV region Monday, November 28 and will go on through Sunday, December 4. Cocktails and mocktails will be flowing while area residents and visitors can also partake of food bites, cocktail classes, tasting dinners, happy hours, and other related events.
The week-long cocktail celebration will include Bresca, Cranes, and Celebration by Rupa Vira. RAMW notes that first-time Virginia participants are Wren and Yume Sushi, first-time Maryland participants include J. Hollinger’s Waterman Chophouse and The Dish & Dram.
And first-time DC participants include Michele’s as well as newly-opened Tight Five Pub, the District’s first rugby fan bar, and Vagabond, a beach-themed restaurant in the Dupont Circle neighborhood.
DC Cocktail Week will see special happy hours and cocktail making classes added daily. Guests in and around the DMV will experience special events and in-house happenings.
