Lavor Day celebration started today, September 2

Rooftop Bar and Eatery Hi-Lawn launched a Rooftop Grill-Out + Picnic Party, a celebration taking place at its expansive rooftop space. It’s become a special place in Washington, DC for outdoor dining, drinking and socializing, and Labor Day is an ideal time to check out the venue.

The four-day Rooftop Grill-Out + Picnic Party runs from Friday, September 2 to Monday, September 5. Hi-Lawn, perched on the open-air roof of Union Market, is hosting an extra-long weekend of partying. Customers can enjoy grill specials, lawn picnics, buckets of booze, end-of-summer cocktails, and communal games like corn hole, croquet and jenga.

Hi-Lawn’s end-of-summer draft cocktails will be just right for the hot weather. The spike-your-own Orange Creamsicle (lemon, orange, pineapple & coconut cream) and Lemonade Stand (house pink lemonade, cranberry, grenadine will be available. So, too, will adult juice boxes, such as the Summer Splash (vodka, strawberry, peach puree, lemon). Also, consider buckets of beer, spiked seltzers, crushes, ranch waters, spiked teas, boozy cream sodas, plus wine and zero-proof beverages, which will be plentiful.

Hi-Lawn’s lawn games for guests to play, including cornhole, croquet, and jenga, help add to the weekend enjoyment. Guests’ picnic blankets to spread out on the expansive lawn are welcome, as well as lawn chairs.
