Hello Betty plans Yappy Hour, cornhole game, live music in July

July events pack socializing opportunities, games, music, Sneaker Sip & Paint

Hello Betty at Pike and Rose is launching events and specials during the month of July to keep things fresh. The West Coast-inspired restaurant will host a Yappy Hour, Sip & Paint class, Cornhole Tournament, and Thursday Live Music hours.

The Yappy Hour happy hour on July 15 will include half-priced wine, beer, and specialty cocktails, along with discounted small plates. That’s a perfect chance to catch spiced, crinkle-cut Savage Fries, topped with clam chowda and bacon, and Fire Charred Oysters.

A Sneaker Sip & Paint class—Hello Betty’s second—will take place Thursday, July 21 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Guests will receive instruction on how to paint their sneakers while sipping on two drinks of their choice. Sneakers can be purchased for an additional $60 but no later than 10 days before the event. Alternately, customers can bring canvas white shoes to the ticketed event, like Vans or Converses. Purchase tickets here.

The first Cornhole Tournament at the restaurant will take place Saturday, July 23. For the first round, teams of two can sign up at the host stand. The tournament, which follows rules set out by the American Cornhole Organization, will take place on the restaurant’s patio and all games will follow. The fun starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. The winning team will be awarded a $50 Hello Betty gift card.

In addition, Hello Betty will continue to host Live Music Nights on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Boat Bar Patio. The restaurant will welcome performances from Erin McDonald, Emma G and Mike Richards.
