Tacombi opens in Bethesda with Corn Esquites, Gringa Quesadillas

Bethesda Avenue location becomes second restaurant in the DMV

Tacombi opened its taqueria in Bethesda, Md. today, May 24 at 4749 Bethesda Avenue. The restaurant chain that aims to connect people to Mexico through its food and beverage, continues to expand. It operates more than a dozen locations across New York, Miami and the Greater Washington, DC area.

The Bethesda Avenue location follows the Arlington restaurant as the second taqueria in the DC area. Tacombi’s menu is rooted in authenticity, featuring traditional recipes, and adding in ice-cold beer, cocktails and juices. The Tacombi Bethesda restaurant will offer popular items, including Corn Esquites, Baja Crispy Fish Tacos, Gringa Quesadillas with Mexico City style Al Pastor roasted pork, as well as Vegana Burritos.

For those seeking to quench their thirst, Tacombi Bethesda will serve cocktails, like the Margarita, Michelada, and Rubio, with watermelon and tequila. The restaurant will also carry non-alcoholic beverages, including the house-made Aguas Frescas and Lupita sodas.

An airy 4,500-square-foot space, where guests can view preparations through the open kitchen, will certainly become a big attraction. The entire storefront will open up to the Capital Crescent Trail, in addition to the adjacent greenery that is under development, said a marketer for the chain.

Tacombi’s Bethesda will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with reservations available on RESY. What’s more, guests can order directly on Tacombi.com and the Tacombi app. There, customers will be able to sign up for the restaurant’s loyalty program, submit recurring orders and order ahead.
