These are the 2021 RAMMYS winners in Washington, DC

After two years, in-person dinner awards returns to Walter E. Convention Center to honor DC industry excellence

The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) announced the winners of the 2021 RAMMYS at an awards dinner celebrated last night at the Walter E. Convention Center. The Swizzle Chill TV team was on hand to witness the celebration of excellence within the local restaurant industry, the first in-person event in two years due to the pandemic.

The RAMMYS affair was approached with more caution, due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19’s Delta variant. Restaurant operators and Industry stakeholders gathered with mask precautions and vaccination verification. In addition, the entire celebration was held in one ballroom.

Several categories were new and reflected a new reality in the industry, as operators worked tirelessly to keep their businesses operational through takeout, special holiday dinners and well-strategized to-go packaging.
