Shelton Brother’s Oliver’s Perry, Tilted Barn’s Double Dry Hopped Cactus Double IPA, Wildflower Brewing & Blending’s St. Thomas on tap
Pizzeria Paradiso is offering September Means Corn, a specialty corn pizza during September at all of its locations. The local DMV pizza chain also launched Back to School Pizza specials and will continue to feature Out of Market beers.
The September spotlight pizza, highlighting local produce and farmers, is topped with a summer corn succotash, Grana Padano, Virginia Country ham, and an herb aioli, priced at $15 for a 9” pie and $21 for 12” pie. The corn is sourced directly from Garners Farm and Market, a family-owned and operated farm in Westmoreland County, Va.
Each Wednesday, Pizzeria Paradiso will offer customers a Back to School special. Guests who purchase a large pizza can add a second, small, tomato & mozzarella pizza for $5. All locations will honor the offer Wednesdays in September: Spring Valley, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; and Paradiso Dupont, Georgetown and Hyatsville, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesdays “Out of Market” tap takeovers continue this month at Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont, featuring independent beers from outside the DMV, selected by Pizzeria Paradiso beer consultants and ANXO Hospitality co-founders Sam Fitz and Cooper Sheehan.
Here are the September taps to try:
- September 14: Shelton Brother’s Oliver’s Perry, a 100% wild fermented pear perry from Herefordshire, UK that will be tapped in the US for the first time in three years
- September 21: Wildflower Brewing & Blending’s St. Thomas, an Australian wild ale refermented with cherries
- September 28: Tilted Barn’s Double Dry Hopped Cactus Double IPA
