New patio seats 38 in socially-distanced manner
Smokecraft Modern Barbecue in Arlington unveiled its new patio, which is open daily and seats 38. It’s the latest addition to the trendy barbecue spot in the heart of Clarendon. The restaurant’s management has been developing a socially-distanced outdoor dining environment suitable for guests to try the award-winning barbecue that’s now locally-available. In addition, there’s a new to-go cocktail program.
Smokecraft’s Lauren Paylor, lead mixologist, has imagined new libations to pair with the menu. Now, guests can enjoy craft cocktails on the patio and to go:
- Smoke on the Water with Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye, with spiced honey, and angostura bitters
- Cucumber Collins with Beefeater Gin, salted cayenne cucumber, house sour, and soda
- Chipotle Margarita with Sauza Blue Tequila, house sour, Cointreau, and chipotle bitters.
The Clarendon restaurant also offers growlers of craft beer and wine bottles for carryout. The patio operates from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays. Reservations are required.
