Restaurant company investing in hundreds of picnic tables, umbrellas
Great American Restaurants (GAR) has reopened its dining rooms at 50 percent capacity in Northern Virginia. The start of Phase Two June 12 ushers in new possibilities in the area as restaurant owners deploy safety protocols while offering exciting dishes for the summer season. Newly-built seating at Artie’s, Silverado and Randy’s Prime Seafood & Steaks are also sure to be a big attraction as locals start venturing out with eased restrictions.
GAR announced that it had invested in hundreds of picnic tables, as well as canopy umbrellas for the warm-weather season. According to the update, “The dedicated GAR family of managers, employees, and culinary teams are carefully and diligently trained on the safety measures in place. Additionally, vigorous cleaning and sanitizing procedures have been established that far exceed the necessary requirements.”
The season brings tried-and-true favorites:
- Tex Mex Eggrolls filled with Smoked Chicken, Corn, and Black Beans wrapped in a Cheddar Cheese Tortilla and served with Avocado Dipping Sauce
- Short Smoked Salmon Filet, marinated and smoked, then hickory grilled and presented alongside Broccolini, Mashed Potatoes, and Dijon Cream
- Cocktails, brews, and wines are perfect additions to the meal
The portfolio of GAR includes Arties, Best Buns, Carlyle, Coastal Flats, Jackson’s, Mike’s American, Ozzie’s, Patsy’s American, Randy’s Prime Seafood & Steaks, Silverado, Sweetwater Tavern, and Taqueria Loca.
