Tallest building in Ballston features top-notch amenities, neighborhood
4040 Wilson Boulevard is getting closer to its planned summer opening. The tallest building in Ballston features retail, office space and luxury residences on the top floor. VIDA fitness and The Salt Line will be two of the earliest retail/restaurant tenants opening up shop in the building. The project was brought to life via a partnership between Shooshan Company and Brandywine Realty Trust in concert with Clark Construction.
The location of 4040 Wilson Boulevard can’t be beat with the WMATA Ballston Metro Station just a couple of blocks away, and its close proximity to shopping and dining at Ballston Quarter. The neighborhood boasts popular eateries, including Cava, Chipotle, True Food Kitchen, Ted’s Bulletin, and Bronson Bier Hall. The Ballston Quarter Market food hall features eclectic eateries, including Hot Lola’s, Copa Kitchen & Bar and Mi & Yu Noodle Shop.
The Residences at 4040 Wilson Boulevard start on floor 11. Managed by Bozzuto, the community will offer studio, one and two bedroom apartments. Apartments feature 9-foot high ceilings in the living areas and bedroom and boast quiet-rated flooring. Energy-star appliances and quiet-dba-rated refrigerators and dishwashers, as well as stainless steel sinks, make the kitchen a comfortable place to cook and dine-in.
The apartments also feature showers and expanded bathroom counters. Each residence has an in-unit front-loading GE washer and dryer. Tenants can choose floor plans that have barn-style doors and walk-in closets. Bozzuto says the apartments have unobstructed views and some will have a perspective on the Washington, D.C. skyline.
Amenities include 24/7 concierge and maintenance, coworking space, The residences also offer a 24-hour gym with Peloton bikes and TRX suspension. There’s also an 11th floor courtyard and lounge, a clubroom and roof deck. 4040 Wilson Boulevard’s online profile suggests the views are both expansive and impressive. The rooftop penthouse deck is said to be cozy, with private cabanas, grilling stations and lounge seating.
Bozzuto will provide package service, as well as a transit map to keep up with the status of commuting options nearby. In addition, residents will be able to tap in move-in management services, away-from-home concierge services and weekly events on the premises. 4040 Wilson Boulevard will begin residential leasing within the upcoming weeks.
