Ski-lodge-themed terrace, menu a winter escape
November 22, the Conrad Hotel in CityCenterDC launched Après Ski, delivering luxury and a lodge-themed outdoor decor to its terrace. In partnership with Moncler, the third-floor terrace is transformed. Guests can indulge in European-inspired specialty cocktails and shareable dishes, announced the luxury hotel.
Check out the Hot Buttered Rum and ‘Haute’ Toddies. Here are more bites, beverages and libations to enjoy by the fire pits:
- wines by the glass
- Beers + cocktails
- Fromage et Charcuterie Board with Tomme de Savoie and Saucisson d’Alsace salami served with house-made persimmon mostarda and accompaniments
- Croque Madame au Confit de Canard prepared with duck confit, duck prosciutto and gruyere
- fireside S’mores with chocolate ganache and chocolate rocks
In addition, Moncler—an extreme-weather, outerwear luxury brand—has included a ski gondola activation at the hotel. The lobby of the Conrad showcases a display of the latest in its outerwear.
Conrad Après Ski on the Terrace operating hours (through February):
Tuesdays to Thursdays, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Fridays and Saturdays, 4 p.m. – 11 p.m.
