On Geek Night, a way to share a beer with extended family
Roofers Union is planning a Friendsving event Tuesday, November 26. It’s for the geek in all of us, especially since the event replaces its recurring Geek Night that week. The pre-Thanksgiving celebration in Adams Morgan is a way to share the joy of the holiday season with our extended family—our friends. Guests will enjoy half-price beer bottles as the festivities get started at 5 p.m.
Roofers Union is known for its extensive collection of beers. Over 100 bottles are there for the choosing, and some date back to 2002. From seasonals to sours, and vintages to barleywines, Roofers Union offers a bountiful selection.
In the spirit of Roofers Union Friendsgiving night sharing, new shareable plates are a tasty way to finish off the night. As an example, the Crispy Brussels Sprouts dish with pomegranate vinaigrette, smoked sour cream and Parmesan Reggiano, or the Roasted Acorn Squash with a maple walnut vinaigrette are two such options.

These are additional dishes that can be shared:
- Cobb Salad/ Chicken with bacon, avocado, blue cheese, cherry tomato, and red wine vinaigrette
- Chicken Liver Mousse/ Grilled Bread, strawberry preserves, and pickled strawberry
- Macaroni & Cheese/ Cheddar and Gruyère
