Rasa + Buffalo and Bergen, Rocklands BBQ Pop-up, Dacha, All Purpose part of summer crawl
DC Central Kitchen throws its first ever summer happy hour crawl this summer. The Washington, D.C.-based organization trains jobless adults for culinary careers and uses its ecosystem to provide millions of meals to homeless shelters, schools and nonprofits, The Happy Hour Hop, which is scheduled for July 17, gives ticket holders the opportunity to sip drinks and sample bites across four venues and five restaurant brands along the Capitol Riverfront.
Rasa and Buffalo & Bergen, Rocklands Barbecue Pop-up, Dacha and All-Purpose are participating in the happy hour. Attendees buy tickets based on their preferred starting locations. The DC Central Kitchen Summer Happy Hour offers a discounted rate if tickets are purchased before June 28. Sip, eat and mingle thanks to the five-venue tour around the Capitol Riverfront.
A 2019 RAMMY Award finalist for Favorite Fast Bites, Rasa is a fast-casual eatery that offers customizable, Indian-inspired bowls in the heart of Navy Yard. Rasa will be hosting Buffalo & Bergen for some creative, specialty craft cocktails from D.C. “mixtress” Gina Chersevani’s Union Market destination. Rocklands Pop-up is a beer garden located on First and N Streets, just a stone’s throw away from Nats Park. The outdoor venue is open during select game innings and for DC Central Kitchen’s happy hour.
Dacha is the riverfront location of the beer garden franchise that started in the Shaw. All-Purpose is a D.C. favorite, offering a variety of pizza pies and Italian-inspired recipes. Variety and choice are a top draws for this emerging chain.
