15th annual DC Travel and Adventure Show takes place March 16-17
Washington, D.C. is welcoming the 15th annual DC Travel and Adventure Show, set for March 16-17, 2019 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Presented by Unicomm, LLC and the Travel and Adventure Show Series, the DC Travel and Adventure Show offers many ways for travelers to book their next vacation with big savings. With many representatives from world- and U.S.-favorite destinations on hand, attendees will be able to optimally plan for vacations, destination weddings and special trips.
The DC Travel and Adventure Show is readying several cultural, educational and inspiring presentations and demonstrations, spurring the imagination of attendees. “At the Destination Theater, potential travelers hear about destination-specific tips and information on when to go, how to get there, what to see plus local, off the beaten path attractions from destinations and suppliers such as MSC Cruises, Visit Anchorage, Italy and Mt. Washington Cog Railway,” announced Unicomm, LLC. “At the Global Beats Stage, attendees will experience the rhythm of cultural dances and performances during more than 20 presentations throughout the weekend.”
DC Travel and Adventure Show is a vacation inspiration
Travel ideas and education are never in short supply at the big-stage Travel Theater, holding 900 seats. The DC Travel and Adventure Show is creating a unique forum for leading authorities and celebrities as they present seminars and answer questions during this two-day event. Samantha Brown, Host, from “Samantha Brown’s Places to Love” on PBS; Peter Greenberg, Emmy-Award winning investigative reporter and CBS News travel editor; Andrew McCarthy, Award-winning travel writer, actor and director; and Patricia Schultz, author of the New York Times Bestseller, titled “1,000 Places to See Before You Die,” are scheduled to appear at the Travel Theater.
At the Global Beats Stage, attendees will experience an international immersion, taking in the rhythm of cultural dances and performances. The DC Travel and Adventure Show is ready to provide attendees access to more than 20 global presentations throughout the weekend. The Travel and Adventure Show Series added Boston this year to a premium lineup of top cities, including Washington, D.C., Chicago, San Francisco/Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Philadelphia and Dallas.

As a DC Travel and Adventure Show bonus, Federal Row, where the U.S. Department of State Passport Agency will accept new passport applications, renew passports and take passport photos, will be on site. In addition, attendees can also access the Customs and Border Protection Pavilion to obtain Global Entry interviews and applications at the show.
