The 43rd Annual Virginia Wine Festival arrives October 13-14, 2018 at the Gateway Park, in Arlington, Va. The event is full of favorites, including the War Shore Oyster Shucks ‘em, which can be enjoyed with local and seasonal wines. Participants can enjoy the VA Craft Brews and VA Oyster Pavilion at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13, and at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 14.
Presented by the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Festival, the Virginia Wine Festival offers a diverse set of activities for attendees and their families. In addition to the 150 wines being served up by top Virginia wineries, food trucks will be on tap to offer traditional and global cuisine, including top favorites from Brick n’ Fire Pizza, Colombian Station, DC Slices, DC Steakholders, DC Taco Truck, Danibelle’s Lebanese, Kovi Asian Kitchen, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, Myra’s New Orleans, Maggiano’s, Red Dog BBQ, Sherry’s Crab Cakes, Qui Qui Catering, Smoke n the City and Zabb Thai.
General Admission includes a tasting glass, unlimited wine tasting from over 20 Virginia wineries, festival access to VA Oyster Pavilion, and all concessions and musical entertainment. VIP offerings are the following: one-hour early admission, “exclusive” VIP Reserve Wine Tasting enjoyment, private tent and bathrooms, in addition to all the perks of general admission.
